Former World Champion Offers Chris Eubank Jr. a Fight After 4 Years Out of the Ring: "We Have History" | After a disappointing performance in his rematch with Conor Benn, Chris Eubank Jr. is looking to bounce back in the boxing ring. Now, a former world champion has stepped forward, offering Eubank Jr. a fight, claiming it's his best option despite his four-year hiatus. Eubank Jr. made a strong impression when he defeated Benn last April, but in their rematch, the 36-year-old looked less than his former self. It's unclear if this performance was due to age or weight-making difficulties. Eubank Jr. is set to return to the super-middleweight division this year, fighting at 168lbs for the first time since 2019. He's been linked to a potential bout with fellow Briton Hamzah Sheeraz, but former IBF welterweight ruler Kell Brook is also in the running. "We have had history, he lost his pen when he should have been in with [Gennady] Golovkin, he didn’t fancy that and I had to step in," Brook said. "Me and him have been mentioned a few times but listen, I have had back and forth before. If they mean business and they want it to happen, then they know exactly what my fee is, they know what I want, and it can happen. I am the biggest fight out there for him." Brook hasn't been in the ring since 2022 but is set to end his retirement on April 11, stepping in for the late Ricky Hatton to face Eisa Al Dah in Dubai. Will Eubank Jr. take up the challenge?
